 I believe team teaching is a useful way to reach many students. The difficulties I have faced team teaching is finding the time to get together and co-plan. Also to let each other know what is going on with each student. Time always plays a factor in the success of many things. I find many times I am able to help a co-teacher with a difficult student and give ideas of what I have used with other students that demonstrated the same behaviors. It is always nice to get ideas from others that have experienced the same thing.

 Team teaching was very important and highly utilized in my high school. For high school band the directors would trade off on certain band activities. I know that when it came to giving private studio lessons, the one director was much better at teaching woodwinds because she is a saxophone player whereas the other director has a masters in tuba performance and knows a lot about playing brass.

However, team teaching was also prevalent in the business department, agricultural department and the social sciences. It's my opinion that the students in my high school received a better education because the educators were willing to work together and use their area of specialization to better enhance the education we received.
