I enjoyed reading this blog. I agree that teaching not only happens in
that classroom, but at home as well. Parents need to remember, the
help and support their children in everything they do. It is so
important for parents to be involved in a child's school. They
should know the teacher well, what is going on in the classroom and
how the child is doing. I find it very sad when a parent does not
have any interest in a students education. I really liked the part
at the end where you stated what parents should teacher their kids.
I hope to keep all these points in mind when I become a parent.

I found this blog to be very interesting. Although I am not a parent yet
myself, I am extremely family-oriented. The role of parents in a
child's upbringing has always fascinated me. I love that you suggest
that parents get involved in their children's lives--not just by
reading to them and interacting with them, but also by meeting their
teachers and attending school functions. Having good family-school
relationships is so important in today's world. Again, great points!
